2024 FALL CSA info

Free, sliding-scale, SNAP, and payments plans all available.

Our fall CSA (Community-Supported Agriculture) share is 4 total pickups, every other week in November & December. Pickups are all on Saturday mornings from 10am-1pm at the farm (10 Jeffreys Neck Road, Ipswich, at the red barn).

Our fall share is LARGER in quantity than our summer share, with many items that will store well on your counter or in your cupboard or fridge - not everything needs to be eaten right away.

Expect a full range of fall crops such as: winter squash, carrots, beets, onions, leeks, garlic, sweet potatoes, greens, popcorn, and more. We also include cranberries and apples from other local farms. Details on sliding-scale price options are on the signup page!

Fall 2024 Pickup Dates, all 10am-1pm:

sliding-scale pricing: How does it work?

Our CSA share prices reflect our costs: the seeds, potting soil, compost, equipment, labor, and everything else we put into growing food, paying staff, and caring for the land. That said, our mission is to grow healthy, delicious, and nutritious food, regardless of income or circumstances. Community-Supported Agriculture is built on trust and a shared commitment between farmers and members, and our pricing works the same way - YOU identify what you can pay, recognizing that each year or season might be different.

You might be able to pay more to support a neighbor’s share, or you might need to pay less: choose what works best for your household.

With thanks and credit to our friends and colleagues at Just Roots in Greenfield, Mass. and the other farms and organizations who have developed a similar system of flexible/sliding-scale pricing.
