Elizabeth Green, Executive Director

Liz (she/her) returned to Three Sisters in November 2020 as Executive Director, and brings nine years of farming experience in eastern Massachusetts (including as Three Sisters’ founding farmer in 2015 and 2016). She left full-time farming in 2016 and spent the next four years supporting farmers at The Trustees' agriculture program, managing their vegetable farms statewide. Before farming, Liz worked in policy, advocacy, and community organizing. Liz is proud to make Gloucester, Mass. her home.

Anna, Farm Director & Co-Manager

Anna (she/her) has been farming at Three Sisters since 2020 and is excited to step into her new role as Farm Director in 2026! Anna grew up in Essex County and is grateful to be able to feed her family and her community through her work. She is inspired by her colleagues and all the other farmers on the North Shore to be a part of a network committed to strengthening our local food system and our climate resiliency. Prior to farming, she studied Classics and Education at Smith College and did a lot of education-focused work both on farms and in schools. When she's not farming, you can find her on walks or out to coffee with her partner, Matthew, and her parents.

Coco Baxter, Farm Co-Manager

Coco (they/them) is so excited to return for a 4th farming season at Three Sisters in the 2026 season. Coco is from Middleton and graduated from Essex Tech’s Sustainable Horticulture in May 2024, and was a co-op student with Three Sisters in the 2023-2024 school year. When not farming, Coco enjoys spending time outside and making treats for family and friends.

Jules Grant, Partnerships Coordinator

Jules (she/her) is an Ipswich resident who has worked across education, land conservation, and agriculture philanthropic sectors. Her skills in program development and building impactful partnerships are well suited for Three Sisters' growth trajectory. No stranger to our mission, she has been an active volunteer and supporter of TS for the past 7 years. Jules is a mom of two free-range children and enjoys being on the water, in the dunes, and making beautiful salads to share.

Sandy Bemis, Outreach Coordinator

Sandy (she/her) is a holistic practitioner and healthy-food advocate since her 20s, and is deeply committed to food justice, equitable living, and sustainability. After previously working with Liz at The Trustees, joining Three Sisters felt like a natural extension of her values and community roots. Outside the farm, she is a nature photographer and artist, most often inspired by birds and owls. As a mother and grandmother rooted in the Ipswich community, Sandy brings a nurturing presence and artistic vision to all she does. Her work reflects a balance of creativity, care, and meaningful community impact. She also serves as the farm’s beekeeper. During growing season, when not extracting honey, she’s most likely preserving locally grown vegetables.

Hannah Grinnell, Assistant Farm Manager

Hannah (she/her) is so excited to be returning for her third season in 2026 at Three Sisters, but this year as a co-assistant manager. Hannah grew up on the north shore and graduated from Connecticut College in 2024 with a degree in environmental studies. She is grateful to continue to be helping grow accessible food for this community. When she’s not farming she enjoys being outside, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Alyssa Kamath, Assistant Farm Manager

Alyssa (she/her) is thrilled to be returning for her second season here and in a new role as Co-Assistant Farm manager. Alyssa graduated from Cornell University in 2023, where she majored in Migration Studies and Political Science. Alyssa enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, playing with dogs, and being out in nature. One of her all-time favorite combos is chatting while farming; come talk to her about TV shows, community organizing, or anything else on your mind!
