about The Peter Britton Climate Resiliency Fund:

The Fund was launched in 2024 to support Three Sisters’ sustainable farming practices.

It was generously created by The Echo Charitable Foundation in response to catastrophic drought in 2022, followed by flooding in 2023 that destroyed over $15 million in crops in Massachusetts alone. Funds are sustainably and locally invested with Essex County Community Foundation and can be used by Three Sisters for climate-friendly farm practices, tools, equipment, or responses to emergencies brought on by climate extremes.

The Fund is named in memory of Peter Britton, a local farmer, climate champion, and friend and supporter of Three Sisters. Read more about his legacy in the local farm community here.

Your donation to the Fund is welcome and appreciated!
