2026 Full Time Seasonal Farm Crew

Three Sisters is a non-profit farm with a mission to increase access to fresh, local produce for everyone in our community. We grow diversified vegetables, herbs, and flowers on around 5 acres in Ipswich and Wenham, Massachusetts for our year-round 150-member sliding-scale CSA, as well as for our free public markets, food access partnerships and programs.

Seasonal Farm Crew position details: 

Reporting: This position reports directly to Farm Manager Coco Baxter (they/them) and Farm Director Anna Zimmer (she/her).

Compensation: $22/hour 

Length of Season: March 30, 2026 - December 19, 2026

Seasonal Schedule:

    • April: 8am-4pm

    • May-June: 7am-4pm

    • July-August: 6am-3pm

    • September-October: 7am-4pm 

    • November-December: 8am-4pm

Weekly Schedule: Monday-Friday with an unpaid hour lunch, plus participation in weekend greenhouse watering rotation (often weekend greenhouse watering will be covered by volunteers instead of staff). All hours worked over 40 in a 7-day week will be paid at the overtime rate of time and a half. 

Benefits include:

  • Paid time off accrued at 9 hours per 170 hours worked. 

  • 5 additional paid sick days per season. 

  • Paid attendance at bi-weekly CRAFT meetings, as desired. 

  • Full share of vegetables with access to any surplus crops, plus access to bought-in and value added items at wholesale cost. 

  • Gear stipend ($150/season). 

  • Participation in goal-setting & check-ins throughout the season. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Take part in all aspects of the farm including; greenhouse and high tunnel work, equipment maintenance and operation, field preparation, planting, irrigation, cultivation, harvest, wash/pack, pest management, and distribution. 

  • Work alongside volunteers of all ages and abilities on a regular basis. 

  • Work with farm managers and other farm crew members, as well as work independently. 

Ideal Candidates Will Have: 

  • Excellent work ethic and reliability

  • Willing to work outside in all types of weather conditions 

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks 

  • Drivers license, reliable transportation and form of communication 

  • Previous farm experience preferred, but not required 

  • Understanding of and commitment to our food access mission
