2025 Winter Soup Share Details

  • COST: Choose free or partial-pay, whatever option works best for your household.

  • SCHEDULE: Every other week pickups on Saturdays starting in January 2025 (exact start date TBD).

  • WHAT’S INCLUDED? Frozen soup made from Three Sisters veggies and a loaf of bread.

  • SIZE: Please choose between small (1 quart soup) or large (2 quarts of soup) per pickup.

  • EXTRAS: Our own frozen pesto, jarred tomatoes, and vegetables from our greenhouses will occasionally be included along with soup and bread, as part of the share.

Soups include:

  • Tomato Basil

  • Minestrone

  • Vegetarian Black Bean Chili

  • Corn Chowder

  • White Bean Escarole

  • Chicken Escarole

  • Butternut Squash Bisque

  • Carrot Ginger

  • and more!

All soups are prepared in the kitchen at Root in Salem and frozen.

Ingredients are from our farm as much as possible, including tomatoes, garlic, onions, butternut squash, potatoes, carrots, greens, and more. All breads are from Bonny Breads in Beverly. Soups come frozen.
