Fall Share 2018

  • Farm fresh vegetables into December? You got that right!

    Our Fall 2018 share includes four pick ups spaced out between November and December. Each pick up will take place at the farm at 10 Jeffrey’s Neck Road, Ipswich, on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

    Because the CSA pick ups are bi-weekly, the quantity of food may be slightly larger than the amount in the weekly summer share. Most of the foods store well and do not have to be eaten right away which is why we space the distributions this way.

    Here are the pickup dates: November 3, November 17, December 1, December 15.

    Much like the summer CSA, we will buy in any produce that we do not grow ourselves due to storage space or other limitations. We choose reputable farms who follow organic practices and whose standards, values and methods parallel those of Three Sisters.

    Here is an idea of some of the vegetables you will see in a fall share

    Cauliflower, Arugula, Lettuce, Kale, Bok Choy, Chard, Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Onions, Garlic, Leeks, Winter Squash, Cabbage, Celeriac, Carrots, Beets, Brussels Sprouts, Turnips , Radishes, Spinach, parsnips and herbs.
